Belper Marlins Open Meet
In the first competition since returning to Buxton Pool we had an excellent start to the competitive season. Buxton came 5th out of 12 overall, picking up 15 medals and trophies. Harri Bowen and Kara Cocker came 4th and 9th in their age-groups, respectively. A special mention goes to new members Liam and Libby who swam their first gala for us. Libby making plenty of PB's and Liam picking up a gold medal for 100 Fly. A big thank you and well done to everyone there on the day!
Derventio eXcel Short Course Open Meet
We had 9 swimmers representing BSC on Saturday and Sunday 1st and 2nd October including BSC's Senior Coach, Mike Glossop. A total of 23 PB's were achieved which was very good to say how early on in the season this competition was. The coaching team were very impressed with the high level of technique and skills on show as well as a positive attitude. Well Done everyone!
